The core mission of SAPS is to advance quality patient care and safety in plastic surgery.
SAPS aims to achieve this goal by way of:
- Helping ensure high standards of plastic surgery training and practice
- Public education
- Acting as a voice for patients in issues such as insurance-coverage for reconstructive plastic surgery
- Promoting patient safety in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery procedures in Singapore
